The Northwest “Good Deed Team” Helps The Extension

Our friends at Northwest Exterminators have kept The Extension pest-free for many years. This month, the Northwest Exterminator’s “Good Deed Team” came together to help our residents. Our technician Adam Owen stated, “Having the opportunity to support organizations like The Extension is why the Northwest Good Deed Team exists. While Northwest may be in the bug business, we are truly in the people business. Serving and supporting the communities that we live and work in every day is what it is all about for the Northwest team.
The Northwest Good Deed Team was formed in 2011 for the sole purpose of keeping our eyes open to positively serve the communities where our teams live and work. The team and GDT (Good Deed Team) Ambassadors look for opportunities with various nonprofits, organizations, schools, and others to bring meaningful opportunities to give back and make a difference. Our vision is to be the heart of Northwest and the verb, the action, of the Northwest Way.
The Good Deed Team is always thankful organizations allow us to volunteer, donate, and support where we are able throughout the year. Commercial Sales Teammates, Adam and Brooke, brought the opportunity to donate to The Extension from a personal connection to the people The Extension works to serve daily. They set out the call to all the local Northwest locations: Corporate, Marietta, East Cobb, Commercial, and Customer Care, with a list of items to donate that The Extension team mentioned were in high demand.
Items requested included deodorant, pillows, towels, bedsheets, cleaning supplies, and coffee, among others. The teams sent all items to the Northwest Corporate location to be able to drop off the donated items to The Extension team on Tuesday, March 9. The team was honored to be able to support such a fantastic team and mission.”
