CenterState Bank has been a friend and supporter of The Extension for many years. CenterState recently presented a donation to The Extension in the amount of $5,000 for COVID-19 relief. When the demand for services offered by The Extension increased with the pandemic, CenterState stepped in to help meet the challenge. The much-needed funds helped to pay for cleaning supplies, nonperishable food items, and personal protection equipment (PPE) for their residents.

According to Barbara Allen, CenterState’s Community Engagement Impact Analyst, “CenterState is a regional bank in scope, but laser-focused on the communities served.  We value the unique character of our communities and strive to exceed expectations by anticipating needs and responding with a sense of urgency. So, when COVID -19 hit our communities hard, we knew we needed to spring into action.  Locally, we identified agencies who were working extra-hard to meet needs and reached out and provided some additional funding to help get past this hardship.  The Extension has been a great partner and we were honored to provide some needed support.”

CenterState Bank and The Extension have a long-standing partnership in serving the Cobb community. Mary Williamson, SVP and Commercial Relationship Manager at CenterState Bank stated, “The Extension and CenterState Bank’s (formerly First Landmark Bank) relationship dates back to 2008 at the inception of the bank. The founding members of the bank had deep roots in the community, as we still do today, and provided resources to purchase and renovate the property currently used as The Extension’s women’s facility. Over our 12 year partnership, we have continued to support The Extension by providing financial and development resources.

The Extension provides much-needed services to our community, and we look forward to the opportunity to continue our support with their upcoming expansion. Although our footprint has grown over the years, we have maintained our core values of being market-driven, supporting the unique needs of the communities we serve and building lifelong friendships.”
