Volunteer With Us

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”

Mahatma Ghandi

Never underestimate the difference you make as a volunteer in the lives of those we serve at The Extension, Inc. Whether you prepare a meal, donate clothing or hygiene products, or write a “love note” to the men and women of The Extension, your act of kindness makes a difference in the lives and hearts of those we serve. Your service is the answered prayer of someone who is hurting, lost, and alone and brings hope to the hopeless. From all of us to all of you—THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!

Whether you donate your time, talent, or money, your service answers the prayer of someone in need. You are the heart of our organization and we could not do what we do without your help. There are lots of ways to plug in and serve our residents:

  • Provide a meal for our residents

  • Hold a drive at your organization to provide items on our ongoing needs list

  • Be part of our new resident backpack initiative

  • Organize your group for an on-campus workday

  • Help with special events

  • Suggest a new and creative idea to serve our residents
