Supporting The Extension
Thank you for your interest in helping The Extension. We are fortunate to have a community of volunteers, donors, and supporters who give their time, talent, and treasures to help us provide vitally needed services to our residents and to the community.
Volunteer with The Extension
Volunteers are the reason we are able to provide services to our residents every day of the year. Volunteer opportunities are available in landscaping projects, clerical support, building enhancement, meal preparation, fundraising, special programs for program participants, and others.
Meals: Prepare and serve sack lunches or dinners to the residents in our men's and women’s programs. To learn more, click here.
Events: This is a great way for small and large groups, churches, businesses and clubs to volunteer. Please contact us for more information on volunteer needs for our next event.
Committee Members & Board Members: We are always seeking leaders in our community who are willing to offer their time and talent to our organization.

Donate to The Extension
Needs List: We have an ongoing need for household and personal care items for our residents. Click here for our most recent Needs List.
Clothing: We will accept new or gently used clothing for our residents. All sizes are acceptable for men and women. Clothing may be dropped off at our Church Street location.
Goods: On occasion, we have a need for items such as vacuum cleaners, washers & dryers, copiers, office furniture, etc. Please contact us if you are interested in donating one of these items.
Financial: We depend on community support to provide life-saving treatment and recovery services to our resident. We welcome tax-deductible contributions from individuals, as well as from businesses, churches, and civic groups. Click here to make your gift today.

Matching Gift: Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some may even triple the amount of your gift! Many companies also match volunteer hours or gifts from spouses, retirees, and board members.
